Why 'Sunlight & Logos'?

Psalm 119:105
The name Sunlight & Logos reflects two powerful biblical truths: God as Light and Christ as the Word of God.
Throughout Scripture, God is described as light—the One who illuminates truth, drives away darkness, and guides His people. The light of God represents wisdom, clarity, righteousness, and life.
Psalm 84:11 (NASB)
“For the LORD God is a sun and shield; The LORD gives grace and glory; No good thing does He withhold from those who walk uprightly.”
1 John 1:5 (NASB)
“This is the message we have heard from Him and announce to you, that God is Light, and in Him there is no darkness at all.”
The word Logos comes from the Greek word λόγος, meaning word, message, reason, or divine expression. In the New Testament, Logos is used to describe Jesus Christ as the living Word of God—the perfect revelation of God to humanity.
John 1:1 (NASB)“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”
John 1:14 (NASB)“And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.”
Together, Sunlight & Logos expresses the heart of the ministry:the light of God shining through the truth of His Word. It reflects a commitment to helping people grow in understanding, walk in wisdom, and live transformed lives through Scripture.
