TheTransformative Power of Divine Revelation

A Word in Season

Why study the Bible?

To know the truth

Studying Scripture helps us understand what is true. God’s Word reveals His character, His will, and the way we are to live.

John 8:31–32 (NASB)
“So Jesus was saying to those Jews who had believed Him, ‘If you continue in My word, then you are truly My disciples; and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.’”

To Grow Spiritually

The Word of God nourishes and strengthens believers so they can mature in their faith.

1 Peter 2:2 (NASB)
“Like newborn babies, long for the pure milk of the word, so that by it you may grow in respect to salvation.”

To Be Equipped for Life and Service

Scripture teaches, corrects, and prepares us to live wisely and serve God effectively.

2 Timothy 3:16–17 (NASB)

“All Scripture is inspired by God and beneficial for teaching, for rebuke, for correction, for training in righteousness; so that the man or woman of God may be fully capable, equipped for every good work."
